No, we do not take insurance. Insurance companies tend to have excessive influence over treatment plans and duration, presenting an obstacle to focused, personalized care. In order to provide the comprehensive, holistic one-on-one care that you deserve, Basecamp Physiotherapy and Performance is an out-of-network provider.
Yes! We will provide you with a “superbill” or itemized invoice to submit to your insurance. Once you have created a client portal, you will be able to easily view an invoice for any date of service. Many insurers do reimburse some, if not all, out-of-network costs; consult your insurance plan to determine your individual benefits.
Yes! We are able to accept payment with your HSA/FSA card.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide physical therapy to those eligible for Medicare. Contact us to see if a wellness option is suitable for you.

No! Both North Carolina and Washington state have Direct Access laws, which means you do not need a physician’s referral to receive physical therapy.
Awesome! During your first visit, or initial evaluation, we will spend a full hour going over the information you provided on (intake forms), dig a bit deeper into your health/injury history, perform a movement assessment, and then work together to make a plan to help you reach your peak! This plan will likely involve 1-2 in-person or virtual visits per week, an individualized home movement plan, and on-going education specific to your needs.
We recommend loose-fitting clothes you can easily move in. Gym shorts and tank tops are especially helpful if we need to assess your knees or shoulders.
